How Do I Start Learning Spanish?

In Spain, the type of Spanish spoken is not the same as that of any other Spanish-speaking country. In fact, every one has its own pretty distinct sound, along with different words and phrases that don't jive from one country to the next. My first tutor who taught my very first Spanish classes was from Alicante, and I also had one from Madrid. To this day, I'm friends with my Madrid tutor, and he has come to visit us all in Andalucía since we moved here! All 4 of us have taken his courses.
